Melbourne's inner west · roasted in-house

Coffee, brekky & a menu named after elephants

Elephant Cafe is a family of neighbourhood cafes across Melbourne's west. Every dish on the menu carries the name of a famous elephant, real or storybook — order Babar's waffles or Jumbo's burger and you're in on the joke.

Our story

Built on community

Elephant Cafe is a collection of welcoming neighbourhood cafes across Melbourne's west, built on great coffee, quality food and genuine hospitality.

Every store is a local gathering place — morning brekky runs, relaxed catch-ups, family brunches and all the everyday moments in between. We're proud to be part of the Newport and Williamstown communities, not just a cafe passing through them.

With kids' playgrounds at selected locations, parents can enjoy their coffee while the little ones stay nearby and entertained. It's food and coffee first, but the room is built for lingering.

We back local employment and local suppliers where we can — a commitment to the neighbourhood that shows up in every cup and every plate that leaves the pass.
